Summary:
The Technical Writer II, Documentation development for engineering and manufacturing as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Takes initiative to develop documentation to align with company processes where inadequate and takes initiative to thoroughly validate the information contained within the document.
Creates, develops, plans, writes and edits operational, instructional & procedural processes in relation to manufacturing and ensure documents meet or exceed standards for production.
Researches and translates technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for non-technical and technical users.
Documenting engineering processes and specifications Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements.
Maintains project timeline and documents project status.
Perform electronic and hard copy document archiving and document reproduction.
Various tasks, as assigned.
Coordinate documentation activities with other team members, as necessary Photograph and edit completed systems for use in manuals.
Develop, create, and maintain a library of reusable training modules for Mega products.
Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users understanding.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation on schedule.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills Advanced writing skills and strong attention to detail Advanced Illustrator/Photoshop or equivalent skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to interact/interview a diverse group of management, engineers, and technical staff whether internal or external customers to gather data for documentation.
Ability to read and interpret documents, engineering drawings, Schematics, P&IDs Prioritization of work in accordance with manufacturing needs and Manager feedback Ability to read and understand testing instruments.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Advanced Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Computer Software and Application Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite, Exceptional Excel skills mandatoryExperience with ERP systems required; knowledge of MS D365 or INFOR LN a plus.
Education/Experience/Certifications:
B.
S.
in Technical Writing & Communication or equivalent work experience.
Vocational or technical training preferred.
3
years technical writing or related work experience required.
Familiar with AX and Bluestar systems are preferred.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
Physical Demands:
This position must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about the office to access file cabinets, copiers, scanners, etc.
The person in this position constantly operates a computer, copier, and calculator.
This position must be able to frequently communicate with vendors and colleagues via email and phone.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
